Chipmeup Events / Event 98400: Harrahs Chester, PA - WSOPC Chester, PA Main Event

It is with much sadness that I am forced to cancel my ChipMeUp event for the WSOPC Chester Main Event that you had bought shares for. In case you're unaware, CMU has decided to block all US players from buying shares or doing anything with their money, so I would have no way to access your funds once playing the event. (More details on this at http://www.chipmeup.com/news/chipmeup-blackfriday)

Fortunately, I am very willing to sell action for the event outside of ChipMeUp. If you live in Las Vegas, NV or Chester, PA, I can arrange to meet you to pick up cash.

I have bank accounts with CitiBank and Chase, and you can make a deposit into my bank account by going to any local branch. If you can do this, please message me and I can supply you with my account information.

Alternately, Chase has web site called QuickPay that will allow you to pay me from your bank account (any bank, not just Chase) sort of the way PayPal works. You can sign up for an account (it's FREE!) at https://www.chase.com/online/services/quickpay.htm -- once signed up, message me with your email address and the amount you would like to buy so I can send you a request for money.

Because of the extra steps needed to buy shares, I will be offering a discount to you guys. My CMU ad listed a 135% price/value ratio. Here is what I can offer you:

2%+ of me for $42 (131% price/value ratio)
5%+ of me for $100 (125% price/value ratio)

If you have ANY questions, please do not hesitate to ask me. I definitely feel bad for having to cancel the action. I hope you can understand, and we can figure out a way to work together.

Getting Started on ChipMeUp / Be honest... Who stakes profitable at cmu? :D

Would love to see nbajam's #. He had 13 shares of my Red Rock event, so that's $4k right there. I thin his ROI would be pretty decent.

Very pleased to be the first person to buy a share in this event. Brandon is one of the best at mixed games. I feel he has a decent edge in this field. Will be a good sweat. Thanks, Brandon.

Thanks, all. I believe everyone has been paid on CMU or via Full Tilt. Thanks for your patience.

If you were paid on Full Tilt, please mark your shares as rec'd.

If I somehow missed paying you, please drop me a line.

Bah, started 2 hours ago? Not even! It's 11am in Vegas and cards don't get in the air until after 1pm. D'oh. Wanted to buy a couple shares this morning. Admin?

Yeah, definitely don't have enough on CMU to pay out everyone. Can I please get a call for volunteers to get paid on Full Tilt? If you can PM me with your Full Tilt info, I will get you paid within a few days. Alternately, if CMU is your only option, please PM me that as well. We'll get it sorted out as quick as I can. Thanks.

Chipmeup Events / Event 93210: Horseshoe (Hammond) - Chicago Poker Classic Heads Up

Busted in round 5. Totally ridiculously.

Match started well... turned trips against top pair and got paid. Had him almost 3-1 in chips when I 5-bet all in with 99 and he called off with 55. He flopped a set to double up and take a slight chip lead. And that was less than 15 minutes into the match.

A few hands later, I had 99 again and 3-bet from the BB. He called. Flop A97 rainbow, and I make a comment how I would love to have pocket nines on that flop (lol). I bet, he called. Turn 4, putting 2 spades on board, he check raises all in and I snap call. He has AsTs, and he hits the queen of spades on the river to bust me.

Like I said, pretty ridiculous, and not the way I wanted things to end, obv.

Not sure of my official placing, but it was 16th-ish. $4,275. Will try to get payouts going as quick as I can, but online funds are hard to come by for me (my Stars account got locked when I transferred too much post-HPT win). Please try to be patient.

OK, off to go spend 1/2 of my profits on a flight home. :/

Won my 4pm. Super nice guy, but he made moves at the wrong time. Guaranteed $4,275 for making top 16. Next match at 9pm. Off to go figure out my flight alternatives.

If that's for real, that's pretty funny. Guy couldn't believe 5bet shoved with sixes, but hey, a pair is a pair.

Just had some Giordano's pizza for lunch, so the next guy has no shot lol. Actually, I may be half asleep by then. :)

Made it through to day 2! One more win and we're in the money.

The first match was pretty tough. My opponent was a competent player and would not let me see many flops. I lost a big pot early when I held 9T on a 97695 board. I let him bet my hand the whole way, and he of course got there with 87. I was able to double up when I 5-bet all in from the BB w/66, and he called with AQ. That huge flip gave me the lead, and I closed it out when I held 97 on a JJ9 board and faded his QT.

The second match started awful. I held KThh and check called his bets on a 2-heart board. We checked the river and he showed down an overplayed 88 that turned out to be good. I doubled up when I held 96 on a 965 flop and 5-bet all in. He called with Q9 and my hand held. My final hand was JT on a KQxA board vs his KQ. Faded the 4-outer.

Should be an interesting day tomorrow as I have a flight home scheduled for 9:30pm... if I win 2 matches, I'll miss my flight and work the next day. Good problem to have though, I guess. lol

Staring at my first opponent now. He looks like a grinder. Was hoping for a fish. Oh well a lot of play I got work to do.

Thx guys, pretty stoked to have sold out my first event on CMU. I just registered via phone yesterday and am entrant #102. En route to Chicago via Toronto right now. Will post updates as I can during the event to http://twitter.com/veeRob

Funny story... I work on the Big Game and introduced myself to Tony G yesterday. I don't think he really knew who I was. lol :)

I'm out.

Pretty frustrating day 2. Came into the day 8th in chips out of 102 remaining. My table draw wasn't great considering the field, but it was the cards that killed me. I wish I was card dead. Instead, I had plenty of playable hands, but my opponents were calling my raises and clearly outflopping me.

My favorite hand of the day was when Kh9h bet into me on a 68TT 3-spade board and I held the As. I called his bet, and he got me to bluff the river when an offsuit 7 hit.

I ended up shipping it in with 55 after a minraise and a call. Blinds were 3k/6k/500, so he made it 12k. After the call, there was 37k in the pot before I shipped in my last 120k. He called with 99 and it held.

Looking back on today, I can't find a hand I misplayed. Very pleased with my play, very very displeased with the result. Sometimes it's just not your day. Sorry, guys.

The turnout the last few days at Foxwoods has been pretty awesome. They got 448 players for their $400 event today. I asked the floorperson, and he seems to think it will be 325 runners for the main. If that's true, it'll be more like $90,000 for 1st rather than the $45,000 I put in. Pretty sick. Really looking forward to getting in the mix!
