ChipMeUp talk / New To Staking

AussieAce: new "Custom Staking" events will be released as soon as rkruok's initial Custom Event has been completed (bought and played). A 'Custom Event' might be just what you're looking for as it will allow you to wait until you have enough backers before you play your Step 6.

Suggestions & Feedback / data entry

currently the text box for adding/editing your profile supports html, so if you want any styling or paragraph breaks you will need to add some html formatting. eg. '<br/>' is a line break and '&nbsp;' is a non-breaking space. A built in html editor might be an enhancement in the future.

Suggestions & Feedback / selling shares

Well thats not a bad idea, currently however if you do post an event and don't sell any shares your fee is refunded, which is
not a bad compromise.

ChipMeUp talk / $300k PartyPoker Sunday MTT

If you don't sell all you shares, you are expected to cover the buyin costs of the unsold shares. Importantly, the tournament should still go ahead and will not be cancelled because all the shares have not been bought.

ChipMeUp talk / $300k PartyPoker Sunday MTT

Hi,
If you want to sell 80% of yourself for this tournament, you'll want to decide how many shares you want to sell (and what size they are as a percentage). The website does a quick calculation on how much a good price for a share would be, but you are free to sell shares at any price you like (more or less than the calculated value). Please remember that you can only sell shares at whole numbers, so you cannot sell at $21.50.

I recommend you click on the 'Create New Event' link and see how it works - you don't have to actually setup an event, but you can check out how creation works.
