Poker video streaming with Twitch

Twitch is the latest craze in the poker world and lots of people are starting to stream their poker games online for everyone to follow. Twitch became very popular with online gamers but has now branched out into other areas and it's exciting to see a lot of poker players jump on board.

Its a great way of learning poker from some of the better players, or just to have a bit of fun with friends. Twitch allows you to stream video live or delay the stream - which is obviously important for online poker tournaments.

ChipMeUp now has a new page that provides a live feed of active Poker Twitch channels. So you can easily find out who is currently broadcasting their poker play right now! Our page is here:

www.chipmeup.com/twitch

Many clever people are making a lot of money from creating Twitch streams, and we can certainly see that it's popularity will grow enormously over the next few years.

If you do decide to create your own Twitch stream and let people watch you play poker, then please let us know and we can help promote your channel on ChipMeUp.

@DIAMONDXXX

I believe their are 2 main ways to generate revenue. Firstly, there is a subscription model where people pay to watch, but Twitch will take half of the subscription $.
Secondly, you can accept donations and Twitch don’t take a cut of this.

But for either of these options you’d need to provide high quality content that is either entertaining or informative.

@hateraises – nice 1. Look forward to seeing some content :)

Actually there’s QUITE a many ways to generate revenue through streaming on Twitch. One is when you get a partnership, you can get subs, as well as do commercials too. Besides that, you can also do things, like become an amazon affiliate, and link your link there, and you can get in for games and stuff like g2a, or razer or more. There are things in the works too :-D

I am a fellow CMU grinder, been here for almost a year now and I am looking forward to many more with this great commmunity. I stream usually late when I get off of work, I usually don’t stream on my Sunday grind as I have too many tables up to pay attention to my chat. Been stream for a couple years off and on, hope to see some CMU grinders comeout and support me. Whom knows maybe we can get partnered eventually and start advertising CMU more and more really help the community grow.

Another key point, if you want to see your channel on our Twitch page, your Twitch stream must be in the ‘Poker’ category.
