Daily Fantasy Sports Staking
What is DFS?

Everyone knows that Fantasy Sports has been very popular all over the world for the last decade, but it's suddenly getting a whole lot bigger. A new craze in the industry has taken over and it's called Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS). DFS compresses traditional fantasy sports into weekly, daily or hourly contests.

Not only are the timeframes shorter, but the formats have changed and are very comparable to what you see in the world of poker. You can now play Fantasy Sports against random other people in a Sit'n'Go, Heads Up, Turbo, Tournament format for $1, $20, $200 and higher. If you are an online poker player, you will certainly find the DFS lobbies quite familiar and easy to understand.

There have been quite a few stories recently where professional poker players (such as Jon AguiarTaylor Caby) are migrating to DFS. They know there's a lot of money to be made battling against recreational sports bettors instead of the professional sportsbooks and casinos. It's like poker back in 2004, when every man and his dog was sitting down at an online table and not really knowing what they were doing. Easy money!

Just recently we saw Matt Smith turn a $27 DFS entry into a $1M first prize at DraftKings, and there are more of these coming up soon. DraftKings is leading the way in DFS, but there will be many more sites emerging in the near future, across all sports.

Here is an example of a ChipMeUp event that mathieupoker created that gives you an example of how it can work:

DFS Staking

The exciting thing is that the same staking model that has been used for the poker industry can also be used with DFS. The concept of buying a piece of someone's action and taking a percentage of their winnings is exactly the same in DFS. The key principles in a recent ChipMeUp article titled 'The Importance of Staking' can be applied to DFS and we are sure that ChipMeUp users will be the first to understand exactly how staking can be applied.

We have started adding the popular DFS sites to ChipMeUp, so you can start creating events right now.

Click the links below to sign up to one of the most popular DFS sites now:

We'll happily feature your DFS event on the ChipMeUp homepage - just give us a holla.

We hope you enjoy it!

If you are looking to get started right away, there are two cool tournaments this weekend.

At DraftKings on Sunday there is the Millionaire Maker, which is offering $1Million for first place.

Also, at FantasyDraft on Sunday, they have a NFL $20K Freeroll which should be loads of fun.

But you need to be quick, because they start soon.

Good luck.

I am sure some sites must do this setup for the rest of the world as well?place info here when you find out.TY!

I have a suggestion if someone make events and sell here on CMU!Pick 1-3 bankers on 5-10 tickets and then get 2-3 players on the other positions and mix them with the bankers to make single systems! When the bankers are correct we have a greater chance to get all correct!Mixed players can be underdog players with a lucky day or as you wish!Systems with bankers and 2-3 outcomes can be found in books for systems in soccer and so on!

Cheers // DIAMONDxxx

Systems could be made like this!In the first one below, pick 5 bankers on any position you believe in and then on all other positions you have 3 different picks and then you make single systems! Each sign below MUST have a name instead of the 1 X or 2!

The one above has 5 bankers on the SAME POSITION and mix 4 positions with 3 players on each position!

Or use only 2 different signs (1X= 2 different players)on each of 7 positions wich means 2 bankers ON THE SAME POSITION!

If you have all 7 correct out of 2 players on each pos, then you always have atleast 6 correct in the one below and the one above always 3 correct out of 4 players with 3 different picks on each pos but still a chance to get all 4 and 7 correct ofcourse!

marquise lee, Vernon davis and fred Jackson have such low ceilings and and very low floors. felt like I should explain so that my last comment sounds less dickish.

hateraises hateraises (2 years ago - 03 Aug 2015 11:33 UTC)

hey daz… hateraises there

Dazwhite Dazwhite (2 years ago - 04 Aug 2015 19:22 UTC)

I tried to send it but when I clicked on “send gift” it didn’t give me options on who to send it too. Not really clear on how it works. I’m gonna email support but it looks like I may only be able to send to new users who have not yet signed up.

Dazwhite Dazwhite (2 years ago - 05 Aug 2015 01:06 UTC)

Yeah, the gifts are for people who don’t already have accounts.

Sorry about that, thought you can send it to friends on the site.
