Played 45k and lost after an hour when about 120/240 and in quite a good position. Didnt play the hand I played the player. I raised from mid/late with KJs called only in SB. Flop 239. He makes his usual c bet to 750 and I decide to call and take it away with a push if he in any ay limps in at the turn. The guy has been folding to any sort of pressure on the turn. Turn comes 7 and he bets a tiny 250 and I push expecting insta fold. Instead he insta calls with set 222. Trying to build a stack and on hidsight should have maybe insta folded his flop bet rather than squeeze the monkey/easy game. |

That was pretty awful Im sorry. Won 1k quickly and nicely set then got 58h on BB and flopped 58Q. Got into a mess when the third club came on the turn and still put him on top pair rather than Q6c (so early). His largish bet was either pot size value bets or a bluff with top pair but he had hit his flush and down to about 4k. Then get AK and get reraised and decide just to flat. Im thinking he too has AJ+ and we get them in on the low flop, obv my push trying to represent a set and bully him off pot if he hasnt got a set himself. He ends with 8888. Too early for those moves Return the measly $328 +??? I really fancied a very deep finish in this and frankly to finish so early in a 2 day event is embarressing. Wrong music maybe I will play the second chance, value $530 Free Of Charge as a replacement event |

ITM and 23/47 with 70k chips so about 35BB Loads of very dramatic hands, been up there throughout but not much has held. Ran KK into AA, then lost with JJ v AK to a spiked turn. Worst was running KK into flopped quads. Doubled up Karolis when his QQ held v my AK and won a nice double up just before bubble with AK v QQ hitting flop. Will post a few hands afterwards. With luck we can double and go FT |

End of hour 7 and 11/25 and $1470 locked in. Have 154k chips and about 50bb. Probably 4 hours to go so hope to stay ahead of blinds and bing a hand. Key hands happened very early AK v 22 hit and AK v Ax held to catapult toward 140k and nicked another 10k on the end hand |

Still a bit in shock. Finished 5th for $13,475.PS got me basically v chip leader At v his A9 flop K67 8 T to hit his 3 outer and complete a straight for 450k+ pot. This assured us of probably a chop and 30k :-( bit upset Event total is $13475 + $328 = $13803 |
