haha zero_one, thanks… Just busted out TT < QQ http://www.boomplayer.com/en/poker-hands/Boom/1… Very card dead almost the whole 3 hours that I lasted.. Couldn’t seem to hit a flop. My pocket pairs were being trumped by slightly higher pairs taking a few small pots away from me. Was hovering around the 9k stack size for most of it, keeping my ranges pretty solid and head above water with some steals/re-steals/cbets… None of my early speculative hands or draws hit. As the blinds got sizable (300/600) compared to my 9k stack, the urgency continued to escalate… I then fold a bunch of trash then an orbit later open raise JQ from CO and hit a J, I pot controlled check/check/call after seeing a AJ6 flop to get to showdown cheap and potentially induce a small bluff stab but opp shows up with a pair of aces leaving me short with about 4.5k… A few hands later I open shove TT from MP to get called and railed by QQ I’m sure it wont be too long before I run a bit better in a $215… Anyway thanks for your stake! Hope I can return the favour soon |
