Suggestions & Feedback / CMU Wishlist I would like CMU to focus on a reward system for frequent sellers/buyers and a better way to find profitable stakes before any graphic or UI changes. (but that's just me) |

I was so tilted yesterday that I only played the Double Deuce that I free-rolled into. I'm gonna go through and pay out everyone that I owe winnings (over $5, since that's the min transfer) to on FTP now, and PS whenever they finish jerking off over my play history or doing whatever they're doing. -Nate |

ChipMeUp talk / FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING HOLY,please move the VIP box back to the sidebar I vote no to Bobalski's idea, but +1 Vicy's.I generally am interested in, at a minimum, looking at most events linked to in the VIP. I think having serious players able to say "yo, check the new event, it's sexier than Jessica Alba" to serious investors is helpful to both. Perhaps increase the req's to get into the VIP (increase min. stake amount) but also add a seller option (if someone has $1,000 in winnings or shares sold but no purchases, fuck it, let em in. |

Technical Questions / What happened to paypal? lol, I'm pretty sure it was the admin that took it OFF the site...after Paypal banned them. Paypal is scared because the Netteller owners got arrested for being a financial conduit for gambling sites.I'm 98% sure they will find another CC processor quite quick. |

ChipMeUp talk / FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING HOLY,please move the VIP box back to the sidebar Okay admins, it's clearly obvious that we need the VIP box back in the side-bar where it is usable.Changes in traffic level should suffice as proof that it is not serving any purpose at all in it's current location. While tunnellord74's three-hour quest to sell 'tickets' to tournaments was fun to watch (especially seeing him negotiate down to his final ask of 50 cents). It makes for a complete lack of effective communication between players that meet a minimal criteria (ie, anyone even slightly serious). I'm not sure who these 'some users' are or what 'technical problems' they experienced but the current solution to that problem grossly outweighs the cost to CMU investors and buyers. Please refer to the decrease in # of shares and $ worth of shares sold since the move. (I have no idea what they are but I'd bet you 50 cents there is a significant decrease the day the box moved). ChipMeUp talk / Featured Listings Proposal for CMU Why does CMU not have a 'featured listings' option which allows buyers to place events onto the homepage (Evay style) or a side-frame widget for an extra buck or two?It would make CMU a lot more money (see 20/80 in previous thread), *might* help decrease the time changing shenanigans, and make it easier for players to sell bigger events. |

To quote the ramblings of a short Frenchmen (Napolean) A soldier will fight long and hard for a bit of colored ribbon. ....especially if that coloured ribbon adds directly to his bottom line.Players that have either the highest winnings (raw $ amount) or highest ROI% get next to no love from CMU. There is the rotating box on the left side of the screen no one sees and a horrific 'stats/search' function under the player's/stats tab which is less than useless. Spamming the front page by incorrectly listing the starting times of tournaments makes finding decent shares that much harder. I would really REALLY like to see the 'feature players' program to be changed to not only include pro's (3/4 of which don't even list events) but winning 'non-pro' CMU'ers as well. For example, 5-10 rotating spots based on winnings ($ or ROI%) in the past week/month would be fantastic (and CMU could distinguish them as "featured winning players" so as to not dilute the 'selectivity' of the list). Again, would help winning players, increase business (as players list more events to get on list & sell more shares being on the list) and if some of spots were ROI based (or there was a 'rookie of the month' spot) it would give all players a fair shake. |

ChipMeUp talk / Frequent Seller Discounts additional argument #1: most everyone has heard of the 20/80 (20% of customers provide 80% of the business). I'm fairly certain that rule holds true @CMU both on the investing and selling side. So for every unit of increase CMU can increase business from it's 20% it gets 4X the % effect on it's bottom line. |

ChipMeUp talk / Frequent Seller Discounts I'm rather surprised this topic hasn't come up yet.5 minutes ago I made a (small) deposit which broke the $500 deposited to CMU for sellers fee's (I'm actually like +$5 from the auctions). That is not an insignificant amount. It would generate tremendously larger profits for CMU if they implement either a reward or fee-back system. The amounts of money generated by Iron-man, Star's SuperNova program and other similar VIP rewards programs are sick. I would not be surprised at a 33% increase in revenue if CMU started such a program. Taking into account how players will play more events to reach the goals and/or get the public recognition. Something like getting $20 CMU credit per $100 in seller's fee paid or 100 events listed would be nice. Or a list X number of events per week/month get CMU$ or a freeroll @stars/ftp, etc... I like the idea of every $X of winnings in CMU listed events or $X of payouts to investors get's you $X of CMU dollars (with increasing marginal rewards). I've sold $ $37,391 worth of shares and paid out $56,017 (actually over $60k b/c of stakeback) to investors. A little help on the $500 fee's (or the 2k I've lost investing) would be nice. |
