Chipmeup Events / Event 77285: Custom Event by chazley Hey guys, I'm running like absolute garbage right now... I'm going to take a short break from poker, and probably put some of my action on another site.I am going to go ahead and cancel the event. However, I told you guys that I was very confident I was going to make money on this, and I feel bad for quitting in the middle of this, but I'm just not in the right mindset to grind, and refuse to play while even slightly tilted. I promised you guys your money back if I didn't make a profit, and I did not make a profit, so you guys will be getting 100% back. Final tally: 2737 hands played -$424.75 You guys can look on PTR if you wanna see just how bad I ran. Sickest part is I was up 380 at one point after about 1k hands... and I just kept running into really standard spots where I'd get value towned by a perfect turn or river... Bottom line is 8-10 buyin downswings are possible in cash games, and it happened in this event. Sorry about it all guys. If anyone wants to talk on AIM about it, I'll be available: lollygagger402 |

Chipmeup Events / Event 77186: Custom Event by chazley Yikes, runbad is continuing. Variance in a 5k hand sample size can be huge, and this 5k is no exception. Been running pretty bad so far, pretty much just a bunch of pots in third session where i lose 25-40 bucks in really standard situations.Lost a buyin on the following hand: I have 6-7 spades, original raiser makes it 3 to go, two callers around to me in BB i get 6-7 spades, I complete. Flop: Qs-7d-8s SB checks, I lead out for 8 bucks into a 12 dollar pot, original raiser makes it 25, so im putting him on AQ/AA/KK, I shove knowing I have good equity against all of his range if he calls, which he does, and he turns over QQ for top set, and I dont get there. Anyways, results: 3rd session: 1024 hands -99.25 Total so far: 1782 hands -301.35 I'll see if I can turn it around either late tonite or tomorrow. Headed off to the gym. |
