Chipmeup Events / Event 106531: 888 Poker - $100,000 Sunday Challenge Doubled up early with set over set but then lost an ugly one with 78s on a 782 flop against QQ when the Ace-Ace turn and river counterfeited my hand.Final hand was battle of blinds, I three bet pre with AJ and we got it in on an Ace-high flop. He had A5 and of course a 5 hits the turn. So yuk. Sorry guys! |

Chipmeup Events / Event 99370: 888 Poker - $80 NLHE Sunday Challenge (100k GTD) Pretty annoyed with this one. Was travelling along pretty comfortably the whole way but as we were approaching the money lost pocket kings against ace-jack on a JJx flop. Disappointing. Sorry guys. |

Chipmeup Events / Event 98940: PokerStars - Sunday Million $1M GTD Frustrating result. Was pretty quiet early, but as the blinds kicked up I was able accumulate blinds and antes pretty easily to build a stack. I then took two huge hits with AQ < AT and QQ < AJ. I would've had a comfortable stack of around 50k. Unfortunately I was crippled to just 500 chips. I then incredibly doubled up 4 times in 4 hands to get back to 28k and found life once again. Unfortunately then lost 44 vs 99, and had to fold AK in a three-bet pot. Blinded down to under 10BB, so shoved 96 from SB and BB called with 88. GG. Sorry folks. Will probably try again next week as field was very soft, and only a little luck in those big pots would've got us to the cash. |

Chipmeup Events / Event 94309: Crown Casino - JHDSS6 - $550 Main Event Hey guys, sorry no luck today. Busted with about 85 players left out of about 150 who started the flight. It was a really frustrating day. I started off well and managed to chip up to about 30k early but after that it seemed that every open was 3bet and every c-bet was check-raised. I 3bet light against a guy who was opening light and was 4bet. Not much went right.Eventually I shipped from the button with 15BB with KQs against a CO open who called with A8o. I hit a queen on the flop and a double would've got me back to start stack but an ace fell on the river. Sorry guys, and thanks for the support. I'm considering playing tomorrow, and will be happy to give first preference on shares to anyone who bought them here. I won't be listing it as a new event on CMU, so please private message me before 11am tomorrow if you are interested. Cheers. |

Chipmeup Events / Event 94292: Crown Casino - JHDSS6 - Event #9 $340 NLHE 6-Max Frustrating day at the office. Lost two-thirds of my stack within the first few levels and from there it was a real grind as I hovered around 20BBs for most of the day. Managed to get myself back into it before a really frustrating bustout within sight of the money. I 3bet an internet kid with AJs from the BB with about 35BBs. We had a little history so I was hoping he might 4ball but he flatted on the BTN. Flop was QhJd6h. Pretty draw heavy and I felt like because he flatted he was trying to outplay me post flop with some sort of funky hand. I didn't want to really c-bet and get raised, so I decided to check-raise jam on him, figuring I'm ahead of his range, and he's always betting when I check. Unfortunately he snap-called with QTo. I guess I had one of the two hands that he beats. Board bricked and I miss the money by a table and a bit. Sorry guys, really disappointed with this as was feeling good. Bustout was ghay but don't think I should get away from that hand against a player who wants to play that badly. |
