Technical Questions / ChipmeUp's Avatar

Changed mine a few days ago, but I swear I've changed it a few times before with no worries...

Suggestions & Feedback / A site suggestion

The only thing I can suggest at this point in time, is possibly breaking down the events more than they are.

Examples.

* Site
* Stake Amount

Or some other way.

The only reason being is that if this site does take off as big as it should, you're probably going to have hundreds of events listed, and it's going to be hard to find what you're looking for.

General / OT / staked

Create an event...

Bare in mind that by the looks of it, Chipmeup only supports more expensive events, which means a bigger payout for stakers I guess.

At the same time, I'd love to see smaller events placed so that up and comers can be sponsored by the big boys occassionally in an environment that suits their bankroll. Sure it's not big bucks, but it'd allow us to get into the bigger games easier.

ChipMeUp talk / New To Staking

If you mean staking others, basically pick a few guys, check up their rankings, and then keep out for the big ticket events with a decent payoff.

If you mean staking yourself, put yourself out there and hope for the best. I weigh up who I'm backing by their form, the stakes, and what I'm expected to outlay.

General / OT / eee pc and poker ?

Sorry to bump up an old topic, but there is a new eeePC due on late next month. It will have an 8inch screen and 8gb solid state memory.

I can see the merits of it as a poker device on the go, but then I think about it, and you're more likely to get distracted and be thrown off your game.

General / OT / how did you hear about chipmeup

Yeah, Bluff Magazine as well.

Trying to get in early and pick up some stakes and possibly a staking bankroll.

General / OT / Hey Guys

Read about this in Bluff Magazine, and definately thought it was worth looking into.

I'm a low stakes online player, basically honing my skills. I do pretty well in Sit n Go's (I'd put my cash rate at about 80%). And usually do alright in cash games.

I'll probably look to stake a few players in the near future, and depending on how that goes, may look to get staked in a few tourneys later on.
