Chipmeup Events / Event 73965: Full Tilt - Early morning 2x combo - NL Holdem

Not really AA vs. 99, as you had to take it four ways.

Min. raise UTG with AA is a dangerous play, but I understand wanting to get it in AF with just 13 BB. Must've had jaw drop when shove on flop was called three times.

Easy to second guess, but I'm opening larger than 3x there hoping to get called by one of the three stacks with five times as many chips as you had. Still going to make a big bet on the flop, and you're prolly getting called by the 9s anyways, even if you open shove there with aces since hand winner had just 6k also.

Chipmeup Events / Event 50731: Full Tilt - 10k Guarantee - NL Holdem - NL Holdem

One only one pot over the first four or five levels, got up over the starting stack for a little bit, played in few pots, including some limps before falling into shove mode. Got lucky several times approaching the bubble.

Biggest hand was probably calling a 3x raise against a 6 pct. raiser, just a couple of hands after my big double up with AK vs. AQ against a 19 pct. raiser. I decided to just flat this one in position even tho a reshove could've been in order even tho I was covered. When he C bet, I got away, but I was back into shove mode. Got lucky again to stay alive, but then just shut it down to get the cash, which I barely did, sitting on .5 BB with four hands left in H4H.

Takezo was paid CMU, while Ferg was sent PS$.

Couldn't pay with CMU for you, Andrew, as I had only 8 CMU dollars, and saw Takezo was talking in the chat box about hoping to not have to reload. Hope that is OK. Really nice to have your support and would welcome any advice from u on my play or MTT in general.

Chipmeup Events / Event 47377: Full Tilt - 18k Guarantee - NL Holdem

I tripled early with two resucks, then lost 2/3 of stack when laggy villian turned a set following my TP/TK rainbow reraise. Regained my stack when I got it in bad AK vs. KK and 99. Had to go into shutdown mode 2 hrs. in when I was on a tough table stacked with highly profitable MTTs. When I got moved, I was able to steals the blinds a couple of times to buy some time and also won a modest pot with JJ.

Bustout came when I had 6k left and blinds at 250/500. UTG, who had played 35 pct with 12 pct raises, opens for 3x. I have AK on button and shove. I get the call and villian has KQ, no Q comes, but river is a 10 for a K-hi straight.

ty for ur support!

Suggestions & Feedback / CMU Store

I would like to purchase CMU hat and shirt, so there is prolly a desire by others to do so.

If any CMU rep would like me to send money via balance or transfer for those items it would be appreciated.

Suggestions & Feedback / Site Redesign - thoughts

Not a suggestion, but very nice to list the value price pct. on the main stake listings, this sure saves a lot of clicks. Well thought out.

Kings vs. Aces... there was enough room to get away since villain was a pretty tight player, but I decided not to and got it all in PF.

Technical Questions / Change not included in automated messages

Noticed when you confirm payment after a cash, CMU sends an automated message, but it doesn't include the change.

Somewhat insignificant for larger cashes, but I have been using CMU for just some smallish/medium buy-in events and just got in the money.

I would like the players to know that I am paying in full, and if they check they will see that they are, but for example, a $6.84 cash is rounded down, and the message says, "RSPoker has paid you $6."

FYI

wrckngbll brings it to my attention, that the CMU automated message doesn't include the change, so note that all payouts include the change.

I guess, we all can't final table every time where the change is insignificant.

Chipmeup Events / Event 3491: Full Tilt - $40,000 Guarantee - NL Holdem

I showed up way late, got down to 480 and somehow turned it into over 13K and cashed. I got home from work and the tournament was well underway. After the screwup, I made sure I hung on to the money. Did need a turn card for my best hand to hold up while sitting one from the bubble when I had to push KQ under the gun and a player isolated from the button with J9.
Best part was, I did it while making a huge Lasagna. Now that takes talent.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Also, possible profit, if I can salvage it. Came in very late and ran it up into something a little workable.

Either way, full refund, or ROI.

Chipmeup Events / Event 3457: Full Tilt - Fifty Fifty - NL Holdem

Tx for the sweat wrck, I know u prolly preferred going for a move and so do I, but I wanted to establish a cash early on this site and not put up goose eggs. U already know my cashing record is good.

Tony, luved the break interview on pokernews, ur comments were spot on with what the site is about I think, even tho I am new here.

It was awesome that the caption said "Playing for the stakers." U R right, it adds some fun, playing for ur backers, or sweating ur horses.

When I was at my table, wrck was sweating me, and I talked up CMU (but not until I lost my fold equity (hahaha).

Adam Schoenfeld was at the table and he asked some questions about the site, as did another player that had a solid ROI on OPR.

Hope u survived day 1, saw the AA three-way hand, then saw u get back above 7400, so off to bed here in the states.

wreckingbll,

You have purchased one stake of me in 50/50 on fulltilt tonight. You forgot to reserve and mark it on the CMU pie chart, but u sent the money on stars.

I have placed reserved on it, but know it is your name.

thanks for the support.

littlegreg,

only the player can change status to sold, from payment sent... once u sent the payment, u are most likely good with all the players on here.

I am in Western United States, so I didn't get home from work until 30 min. prior to the start.

Tx to all five of my backers for my first tournament here on CMU.

Goldy70 sent twice the amount, so I will send back following the event (I'm waiting until after since I may be able to include it with a cash!!!)
