Guys, im looking for a new laptop and could use some help.
I will be using the laptop for internet browsing, listening music, watching movies and playing poker. The max I want to spend is 400GBP which is about 560USD, the reason for not wanting to spend too much on it is that I am kind of reckless haha ( broke 3 laptops in 2 yrs) Other requirements are: - min 2gb memory - Not a big fan of widescreens so would prefer a normal one - Screen has to be 10inch at a minimum, prefer bigger one Thanks! |

General / OT / Relocating for winter How about Turkey?Same climate as spain but much cheaper... I would still go for Thailand or Goa but if u want to stay in Europe I think Turkey would be best to go |

General / OT / Can a bet be cancelled Well sabby, I think Tanker232 is completely right.A bet is a bet. What if I would go to the betting office and put 100USD on The Netherlands beating Germany in a soccer game and a few hours before the game I find out that our top strikers arent play.. Do you think I can go back to the betting office and ask for a refund? Dont think so! Its sad that stuff like this happens but next time when people agree on a bet make sure its out in public and that agreements have been put on paper. And im sure tanker isnt desperate for the money but I think he feels that he stands in his right and now feels screwed over by you. A bit sad of you saddy |

Chipmeup Events / Event 23836: Custom Event by kidpython A solution could be that kidpython transfers some of the money put in to different shareholders and they buy stakes from that.If we do it this way and we make a list with who has which share and who has which % were done. |

Suggestions & Feedback / Auto-bidding on auctions I guess this is a topic we can go on and on about...Lets stop it and let the people who enjoy them continue doing that and the ppl who dont just dont play them. From my point of view there are better ways to run an auction but obviously this is the best way for CMU to make money. Just spend your money on staking good players and make money from that... Although good/profitable players seem to be difficult to find these days |

Suggestions & Feedback / Auto-bidding on auctions Obviously the current way of running auctions is most profitable for CMU, certainly now they have introduced the autobids.I have lost a fair amount of money during the auctions and will never participate in them in the current way they are held. Last week I saw a few auctions where people just had to enter the highest bid, that was a big step in the right direction. What I want to suggest is to have a sealed bid auction, meaning following: 1. Set a minimum price for a product 2. Set up the auction and set a deadline for it 3. Users place sealed bids and the higher bidder wins at the time of the deadline This way the person who is willing to pay the most will get the product, not the person who has the biggest bankroll. Of course this will be less profitable for CMU in the short run but I believe that recieving constant flows of money will on the long term be more profitable compared to having 1 product sold for 60 cents and the other for 10usd. Next to this you could charge a 1USD ( example) cost to place your sealed bid. Just my idea |
