General / OT / PS and FT record files For Pokerstars:http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/download/faq/#a8 "# If I re-install PokerStars, will I lose any of my settings or player notes? # You should not lose any of your settings if you re-install PokerStars to the same directory. If you wish to ensure you do not lose this information, you may copy the files 'user.ini' and 'notes.txt' to a safe location (the Desktop is a good temporary location to copy these files) before re-installing. To locate these files simply open the PokerStars software and click on 'Help' and then 'Open My Settings Folder'." For Full Tilt: http://www.cardschat.com/f10/player-notes-full-tilt-144075/ "Currently, Full Tilt Poker's player notes feature is integrated into a couple of files related to your player account. The files are named, playername.dat and playername.xml, and is written in a format intended to be read by the game client. Please realize that every time you move locations or reinstall Full Tilt Poker, this file will no longer contain player notes taken in the past. In the future, I would recommend backing up both files before reinstalling or updating our game client. The files can be found in the main directory of your Full Tilt Poker installation. By default this location is C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker. You may copy the files to a portable storage device or email them to yourself and download the files onto your new computer. Once Full Tilt Poker has finished installing on your new computer, simply move the files into your Full Tilt Poker directory. This should allow you to retain your old player notes on your new computer. " Hope this helps |

Technical Questions / Payment Options Yeah, it was one of the reason CMU$ are being used, so it would be easier for big sellers to pay out, check, ...and as i said, the payment options are seller's choice, as it is the buyers choice if the wanna use it. |

Technical Questions / Payment Options i can see where you're coming from, and it's your choice to buy those shares or not.But it's also the seller that decides which payment option he choses. And if more people feel the same as you, i'm sure sellers will put up more options to chose from, to ensure people still buy their shares. |

Suggestions & Feedback / ChipMeUp $ purchases (scammers, insurance etc) "The idea is that if you buy shares with “ChipMeUp $”, you will be charged a small percentage (we’re thinking 3.5%)"i'm guessing the buyer... This would be logical, as they get the insurance. so they pay for the service. |

Suggestions & Feedback / New Idea for the site jconnor, i've noticed that if you're looking for a player, there's a 'problem' with the - aswell. not sure how to explain, but i'll give an example.if for example i'm looking for a name that starts with a R, when i type in R, it usually gives only the names that start with R. but it also gives names that have a -R in their name, like Jana-Remy, Makaveli-Royal. It does this also with a . i have no idea if this has anything to do at all with the links not working. but might aswel mention it, if it helps. |

Suggestions & Feedback / CMU Wishlist i'd also like to see a list of events, like the upcoming list that exists now, but with only the people on your watchlistso it's easier to keep track of their events. i think someone else mentioned this on shoutbox a few days ago aswell and i also wanna say GOOD JOB to the admins :)) |

Suggestions & Feedback / CMU Wishlist as i hava said somewhere before, to help those people that like buying a lot of small shares in events.would it be an idea to work with some kind of a slider... where we work with percentages instead of shares. so you buy one share, but you decide yourself how big it is (percentage wise) this can work both ways, you can decide how big the share is you wanna buy, or you decide how much you want to invest in that person. so, if you can only afford 5$, you get a share taht's worth 5$. the seller ofcourse, still decided on a price/percentage. this could also make the 'my shares' page a bit easier to overlook. |

would it be an option to work with a kind of slider..
Where the seller sets a price for each 1% So you decide how many percent you want to buy, and then see how much you have to pay, or even the other way around, here you decide how much you wanna invest, and get that percentage. This way you only buy one 'share', and you decide yourself how big it is. |

Suggestions & Feedback / railing players yes, i know, but this more for the costum events, the kind that has more than one tourney in them.they can be running for a week, or even more sometimes. i just think it would be a good idea, if the players put their TID's up, so we know what they are playing for which event. or just for the railbirds, like me, to find someone to rail. and like i said, most people put their tourney ID's in their comments, but it might be nice to be able to see all the tourney's being played at that moment. So the backers can follow their players better. |

Suggestions & Feedback / railing players This would probably mean that the players have to do this manually. So instead of putting it in their comments, they can add their TID to the list |

Suggestions & Feedback / railing players i was wondering if there was an better system to rail players, or to find where what and how they are playing. So, maybe it would be a nice idea to have a feature on the site to track players. I think this can be useful, especially with the many costum events around. so if there was a list or something, that mentions who is playing where, their screenname, The tourney ID, and the event number or link to the event. it might be easier for the backers to follow the players. Also most players put the tourney ID's in their comments, instead of checking for each of your shares separately, you can just have an overview of all the players. Not sure if and how this can be implemented, but the idea sounded nice in my head :) |

Getting Started on ChipMeUp / search a guy where stacking me i think he has been reading about the Martingale Strategy:Make a small bet. if you win, quit. if you lose, bet the amount you are behind, plus enough for a small profit, repeat the process till you win. But i don't think you can use that in Poker. You actually have to win for this strategy to be succesful :P You have to admit, sounds nice :) |
