Hello Everyone:

I have played poker & multi-table poker tournaments off & on for many years and have been quite successful .... long before both the internet explosion and the Chris Moneymaker fairy-tale. I'll get to me in a second, but I guess my real "claim-to-fame" lies in the fact that I'm the one who first introduced DANIEL NEGREANU to Tournament Poker !

In 1990 I was managing a snooker club in Toronto and I decided to organize, supervise and oversee a weekly Poker Tournament, which at that time very few people outside of Las Vegas had ever heard of, when a very confident young man named Daniel Negreanu walked in, liked what he heard from me as I explained exactly how a poker tournament worked and signed on board .... he never missed a single tournament after that and to put it in his terms "he was hooked". Now I'm not here to ride Daniel's coat-tails so here's a little about me as well :-)

I chose the name "TheSilverFox" because that was a nickname that was given to me by my poker buddies in Toronto for two reasons .... my winning ability at poker  :-)  and the colour of my hair  :-( 
I have won about 10 MTT's overall .... 2 in Las Vegas, 2 or 3 in Canada, 4 or 5 on-line and finished in the money in many others .... I generally play in low-limit tournaments with large fields and I'm usually in the money about 30% - 35% of the time .... I fear no-one at the poker table but that doesn't mean I don't respect them ....  I don't dwell on bad beats  I don't dwell on bad beats and never, ever give up, even if I'm very short-stacked .... I'm a person of integrity, honesty and loyalty, and always try my best !
