I'm heading back down to Melbourne in May for the 2009 Melbourne Champs, and I wanted to get you guys/gals in on the action!!! :)

My first serious outing to a live tournament series was the 2009 Joe Hachem Deep Stack Series, at which I cashed 5 times from a total of 10 events:

1. 14th in Event 15 ($550 NLH Main Event) [$4000AUD].


2. 4th in Event 12 ($550 Teams NLH) [$9000AUD - 4 way chop].


3. 10th in Event 4 (Turbo NLH) [$975AUD].


4. 15th in Event 6 (Terminator NLH) [$1214AUD inc. buttons].


5. 32nd in Event 7 ($340 NLH 2-Day Event) [$600AUD].

$15789 won [from $3630].

I also ran 12th in the $340 PL H/A, and had a deep run 37th (top 20%) in the $340 PLO event [only to have my flopped nut full house (Qs full 8s) cracked by quad 8s on the turn].
