ChipMeUp WSOP FantasyPoker

Select a team of poker players and if your team wins the most points over the WSOP you will win a package to either the 2010 Aussie Millions Main Event or the 2009 Australian Pokernews Cup Main Event at the Crown Casino Melbourne, Australia. There are also some huge prizes for the runners up.

To join simply sign up to ChipMeUp or login if you already have an account. Then go here to enter your team and select your players.

Once the competition starts you won't be able to make personnel changes, so choose your teams carefully and remember, not all pros are guaranteed to be playing all or any event - Do your research and choose your team wisely! Remember you can enter as many teams as you like and run with a different combinations of pros.

Rules

Each team is made up of a maximum of 20 well known poker players.

ChipMeUp users can request any player be added to the list of available Pros, ChipMeUp Admin has discretion on who gets added.

Each ChipMeUp user can enter one team in the amateur league () for free and as many teams as they like in the pro league (), each pro team costs $10, taken from their ChipMeUp balance. You can try out different team combinations to increase your chance of winning.

Each team has its own name of your choosing.

Points will be awarded on a system based on the 2008 WSOP Player of the Year system (see below).

The fantasy comp will commence from and including Event 10 of the WSOP 2009, WSOP Events 1-9 are excluded from this competition and do not count for points.

There will be no team changes allowed after the start of Event 10 2009 WSOP Day 1.

No team cancellations allowed, strictly no refunds.

Users found to enter multiple entries using different ChipMeUp accounts will be disqualified. Prize winners identity will be verified and if found to enter via more than one ChipMeUp account they will be disqualified.

Strictly one major prize per person, and 2 minor prizes per person.

Team Pros will be ranked in order by their owners, the order will be used as a tiebreaker, using count back. Remove the lowest ranked player (as ranked by the CMU user) and re compute scores, keep going until a winner is found. If the teams are still tied, the final tiebreaker will be the team that was created first.
