Real Money Poker for iPod, iPhone & iPad

Real Money Poker for iPod, iPhone & iPad Switch Poker have released a web version of real money poker software optimized for the iPod, iPhone, iPad and other mobile devices.

This is pretty exciting for many poker players, as there hasn't really been any good poker software built for this platform.

Check out the Switch Poker homepage here:
http://www.switchpoker.com

Apple still do not make available real money poker applications in their store, but this software is available from within nearly any web browser. This means that it will work from within Safari on most apple devices and also within other browsers on any other mobile device.

Switch Poker is running games from ranging from €0.20 to €1,000, and the user base should quickly increase once word gets around. They are only offering 6-handed No Limit Hold'em at the moment, but plan to release other games/formats soon.

The bad news is that US players cannot play on this site at this point in time. The good news is that the software has been developed to minimise the amount of data transferred via your mobile device so you don't burn through all your data usage.

We'd love to get anyone's feedback on the software and the players. So give it a try and post of a comment to let everyone know your feedback. We'd be assuming there could be a lot of inexperienced players joining this site, so it could be a juicy place to play!

Don't have an iPhone/iPad/iPod? The software runs in any web browser, so you can try it on any computer!

This is actually better than I thought it would be.
It’s quite fast to load, and you can multi-table too.

Worked nicely on iPhone4

BOOM. We’re one step closer to getting Full Tilt on our iPads and iPhones without having to use any remote software. I’m currently a crackberry addict, but the day that happens, I’m making the switch!

Just tried it on my Andriod phone and works fine you are right it is surprisingly responsive. If anyone is trying it on Android you need to use Dolphin or the Android browser won’t work with Opera mini.

Just think how good it would be to be sitting at home running PT/HM 6 tabling people playing on a 3-4in touch screen on a train lol!

i like the idea of (as mentioned in yesterday’s WSOP broadcast by The Grinder) playing online at the table while playing a live game.

i tried to stay away from bb, iphones etc. i only have a old cel phone that i only use for calls.

i mean i think its enough tech when you deal with a pc or laptop for 8-10 hours everyday.

but now i wan to try it out,so whats the best device for this?

jimmiijimjim jimmiijimjim (about 1 year ago - 16 Oct 2010 10:25 UTC)

probably something with a 4in+ screen so a HTC, galaxy or X10 maybe even a dell streak but then that is dell. Or just sheep it up!

also apple normally take 30% of everything so if they do allow this then it could up the rake.

Trying it on Ipad, Using Safari as there is no approved APP yet in store. Response time is a little slow and real money is out of the question since clients new and could easily imo be exploitable since website looks like it took 2 seconds to put up.

micvanbob micvanbob (about 1 year ago - 18 Oct 2010 06:42 UTC)

Carl… there is a double-standard in the content of your posts. I make a suggestion and you in turn call me a cheater for making that suggestion. On that same level, you must be a hacker and a thief if you are talking about exploiting a client. Now I’m not going to waste my time and insert your face in a stupid photo like you did with me, all I ask is that you not be such a hypocritical douche. You are a cancer to this forum… and cashing in the Sunday millions doesn’t mean squat when your investors don’t even get their full investment back. i know because I was one of them. figured i’d put you to the test. So get your act together.

Carl_ Carl_ (about 1 year ago - 18 Oct 2010 10:59 UTC)

What the hell are you on about moron? All investors got Stakeback and profit for each share. I click pay via CMU$ and it does all payments Automatically for me.

Each share cost .015 and everyone was paid .20c per share since i cashed $318.00. If there was a mistake, take it up with Automatic payments take it up with Admin, No need to post here.

And the reason why i said not to play real $$ at a new mobile platform was my pure opinion only. The site looks like it has been made in 2 hours and they have 50 followers on twitter.

If your going to deposit money onto a new poker site that has no credibility then that’s your choice.

I say this 1 time bob and only 1 time. I don;t know you and i will never reply to you again in any posts of shoutbox / Pm or anything. You are a waste of time and space and i only wasted a certain amount of time of people before i stop giving them the time of day.

Your time has come. Bye

18 Oct 2010 01:24 (10 hours ago) CMU_SHARES_PAIDOUT (Event:79506) $-200.99

I made $318.00 idiot and $200 was taken by CMU Automatically to pay investors.

Now why you trippin anf lying on forums and making false accusations? Nobody else who purchaed 100’s of 1000 shares has said anything except you..

You purchased 2 shares @ 0.15c

You should receive 0.40c back which is stakeback + profit, If you were given less than this by the Automatic payout system then you need to provide proof you Admin and tell them you were shortchanged.

Know why would i rip someone off who purchased 2 × 0.15c shares?

Anyway enough said on my part.. gl in yur life

micvanbob micvanbob (about 1 year ago - 18 Oct 2010 17:43 UTC)

You missed my point completely.

You called me a cheater because I made a suggestion about the poker site software, and now here you go talking about how easy it is to hack this new software on your iPad/iPhone(which is why you will only use the play money on that site).

On the same level that you called me a cheater, you are a cheater/thief/hacker.
All I’m saying is if you’re going to blast people, don’t make similar comments. You my friend, are clearly a big fan of double-standards. I’m saying there shouldn’t be any. Based on your own thought process- YOU ARE A CHEAT!

Carl_ Carl_ (about 1 year ago - 19 Oct 2010 00:24 UTC)

No idiot, You said in your post that there should be a site that allows cheating and multi account, Someone who condones any form of cheating in poker in my book is a future scammer.

All i said was the coding in a simplistic looking website and a web based program could maybe be exploited since AP Poker was exploited and written much better than what i just seen from the link provided.

The difference between you and I is that i am warning people about depositing real $ into a unknown site.

You on the other hand posted that there should be a site that allows cheating and multi account, Big difference brother, Time to fucking get over me and move on.

And no sorry for lying about not getting paid for event?

Now fck off cause I’m done wasting my time on a fkn idiot.
