not trying to be a dick here i usually just shut up and don’t uy if i don’t like the markup but this is getting ridiculous, can’t believe ppl still buy his pieces at 140-150% markup, not bashing on him as a player he’s probably very good at the tournaments hes plays but on other forums like 2+2 ppl would get laughed at for trying to sell at 150% PLUS theres almost always a clause on his events where he plays for 30% of himself but, he keeps 50% if he final tables, we’re all tournament players here we all know the money in tournaments is made at the final table so how don’t know if its possible to even make decent money buying his piecesagain i’m not trying to bash on the guy and i’m sure he’s not the only one who does this it just looks to me like he’s a good player with good results who uses his good results to lure in unexperiened buyers into buying shares at ridiculous rates with ridiculous clauses, so he in a way almost ’’freerolls’’ everything he plays and that just doesn’t seem right to me i know he’s well respected here and i’m more of a new guy but i’m not trying to ruin his rep or anything just asking to see if other people view it the way i see it. |

Same ol discussion. It’s clear that you buy a share it’s beause you believe the player is good enough to make a ft! When a player takes extra 20% of the FT equity (30 -50% in this csase) for every FT they are simply raping the investor. They should never sell a share imo but there is one fact here….. if a player sells out offering this terrible deal I say MAJOR PROPS to you!!! Don’t hate Kevin for doing this as I think it’s brilliant if you can get away with it. Bash the muppet investors who buys the shares. I know I have bought Kevins shares in the past but since he started doing this FT thing I laugh and close screen. I don’t get the anger thing with players events. Just walk on by, or if you realy want to invest PM the player and ask for a better desal! |

Thing to remember is normally a FT has, depending on the size of the event, on average over 50% of the money distibuted in the event, and that is in massive events. Smaller events between 60-70% is the norm. To buy a share when you are losing 20% equity when thats the only time you have a chance of scoring a +ROI is plain dumb. Remember the player clearly doesnt care about the investor as they will let you keep you 70% of nothing but as soon as it’s going to be a decent return (IE Final Table) they take a further 20% from you. |

Not quite sure what the bickering between hate and kgoule is about, whatever… I’m just wondering why you wouldn’t reconsider your markups and stipluations a it seems most people on the site have figured that that it’s close to -ev to buy those shares, looking at your recent events it seems to me you have trouble selling even a quarter of the pieces you’re putting up, you’re obviously a good player and its frustrating to see you putting up events with such ridiculous stipulations as i’D love to buy pieces of you if they were more reasonable and i’m pretty sure most of the people in this thread feel the same way. Yesterday i was speaking with some players in the chat and i think it’s aquaraider who said that you had quit the site a couple of times because you were frustrated because you had trouble selling out events, i mean what are you not getting? put up events with no FT deals & markups not higher than 130% and you’ll probably sell everyone of those out, again i understand the concept of ‘’if you don’t like it just dont buy’’ but for some reason it just tilts the hell outta me when i see you put up an event with some nice juicy tournaments then look closer and see 150% pv, 50% for me if i make FT and some people dumb enough to buy Not quite sure where you’re getting the ‘’big stealer of the website’’ part, i never called you that, no one is calling you a cheater you’re good at taking advantage of inexperienced buyers that’s all |

havent been active here recently (and prolly won’t be in the near future), just my 2c really brief: i bought a lot of kg events, pretty much of all them thru good and bad times – up to a point where i felt the PV is too high for me or in other words: i could allocate my $ to more interesting tourneys. my view is that kev is not doing anything wrong at all, but it really is up to every investor to make a call (like i did for myself) also i can confirm how he supported many players on this site with not that great stats. that is appreciated a lot by me and others as well afaik. what i can also say that he is certainly not a scammer, we had some arrangements in place and sometimes it got messy or slow, but he was always reliable in paying |
