I staked him privately, because CNG97 recommended him to me, that he is a skilled SNG-Player and it would sure be a safe investment.

I contacted this player MYSELF at skype, asked some questions and he gave me the impression that he is what he is pretending to be.

Money was shipped, updates came on a daily basis for 3 days, until he just disappeared. Now he is telling me: “You are the one who was always offline and kept hiding from me”

Yes sure, I invest my money into things and just disappear as if I’m the scammer? Logically…………….

Later I checked out on PPL that he played lots of MTTs, and didn’t even touch the specific SNG we agreed upon.

Today I ask him for the money, he tells me that he went broke and that’s my own fault since I didn’t even contact him.
Afterwards, he starts insulting me lol.

Just my opinion on one of the worst horses I’ve ever staked in my entire life, I brought so much trust towards you, even contacted you myself to help you build up your own BR, gave you a 50/50 cut + stakeback and this is how you thank me ?

with no contact no response to my messages and was OFFLINE when he sent the message
so once again i repeat

I HAVE EVERY GAME I PLAYED ON POKER TRACKER AND SPREADSHEET

a) contact admin

b) never take the advice from other players on this site. most are half-tards.

c) do your own research (which you sort of did). look at sites such as OPR, sharkscope, etc.

according to OPR:

not sure what you staked him in (don’t see you as a buyer on any of his active events), but just based on the above numbers i can easily conclude that he’s fairly inexperienced based on volume numbers, and doesn’t exactly have stunning results with the sample size available.

okay, have no clue what’s going on here, but was this a CMU deal, or was this private? regardless, here is what should be the protocol in the future:

a) make sure it’s made into a CMU event (otherwise, don’t come here bitching about it)

b) make sure all the details are laid out (completion time, buy-in range, what can and can not be played, reporting practices, etc)

c) make sure you can track the players results if you think you need to. not only would i require a spreadsheet that i can actively watch, but i would also track on my own via sharkscope (purchase a subscription) or use OPR if they are trackable that way (some sngs aren’t)

It was a private
and i sent him all the results for the first series
then he told me to continue playing at which time he
dissappeared for weeks at a time with zero contact

all of my games are also on Poker Tracker which he
knows as well

Negative ROI on micro SNGs, you aren’t even worth a stake you hobby-player.

enk, tell me what site, stakes (i.e. $3.30 90man KO’s) and the time frame (exact dates) and i can tell you how many he played and what his profit was. also tell me how much you sent him.

Basically as rwest said above, this is pretty much a he said/he said battle as with it being an offsite agreement, there is really no way to verify whether either of you are in the wrong.

Skype logs can be altered, but if you put it on cmu and lay it out what is supposed to happen, you avoid many of these situations.

I would suggest that you guys obviously end the stake at whatever it is at, ship any funds back and part ways, but there is really nothing for CMU admin to do here.

I will say this as a warning, continued flaming in this thread by eitehr of you will not be tolerated and EnkhtsagD, your offense language will not be tolerated any further. Even if you have a problem with a horse, it would is expected that if dealing with it on CMU, it be done in a professional manner

It’s not even about the money, you all know that I’ve been staking here a lot since I joined CMU, I also have private stakes going on and everything.

The reason why I’m posting this here is, that there are also little backers who work hard for winning that money, and I don’t want these heavy little

grinders to lose their money on such a twat.

i could lose $66 playing $3.30’s in less than 5 hours, especially if i’m playing 90man KO’s.

A 20 buyin swing is no big deal. Not being able to get in touch with a horse is. So if the last update was -13.25, where’s the rest of the money? interesting last line " anything you want to, lets decide when we finished" That looks to me like, don’t sweat it, was can run some other things, AFTER you’re finished AND we talk about it. Not, finish these 20 then do whatever the hell you feel like.

Enk is an obnoxious little tosser, but shouldn’t be treated like this(Well, he should, but not concerning $). I quit looking over angelz events once I saw how many there were, and ITM stars on events that aren’t. Silly staking someone, then bitching about the numbers that were already there. Silly for not having people make events for you, when it costs the staker nothing.
