So we’re considering getting rid of custom events.

We will add the ability to add individual results in normal events like you can now in customs. What do people think ?

I like custom events. Is there any harm in keeping them? Like do they cost the site extra money or time or something cause I feel like a decent number of people use them. And when you say “We will add the ability to add individual results in normal events like you can now in customs.” do you mean that you will be able to string multiple tourneys into one event like 25×90man cause then wouldn’t it be just like combining custom and normal events into one? which would be fine and I may just be confused about what your saying. Basically I like to be able to play a set of sngs as one event so as long as I can still do that I’d be cool.

No one should have a problem with that, less is more. Can you get rid of the custom payout option while you’re in there fiddling around? I can’t remember the last time I saw an event with a final table/top 3 bonus in it.

What is actually happening is they’re just making regular events into customs.

@Omnipotentme..Essentially yes we’d be combining some of the features of a custom event into a normal event, but some of the date stuff we want to get rid of.

Hey Admin, one more thing.
I know its prolly my own stupidity, but I never get the date/time set right. I noticed that with some more guys also.
ehhh anyway we can make that easier? Like for instance we just hold one one timeframe to enter?
POkerstars/FTP time maybe?

That seems like its making the site a lot less flexible. What about people who post “bankroll heebs” and don’t have a specified set schedule every day? Do you just want to lose their business altogether? That along with the stakers who would rather invest in something that’s less risky then the normal 5 tourneys in a day type events.

i could do without it as long as u have the same options, but i agree with NBAJAM on that there needs to be an open format or something to do bankroll events.

I thought this was basically getting rid of regular events by making everything a custom. I don’t understand what you mean by the date stuff. You want people to have a set start date for the event, instead of being able to set it running if they want to start early?
