Can I suggest before we get further into this that the eligibility also include ‘Must have bought at least 1 share’. Hard to move the goalposts a day before the event, let’s do it now.

Any random can list an event, even without a single dollar in any account, actually even without an account. They just make up a username and don’t play the event.

This site relies on sellers to list events, but without buyers there is no site. Encourage people to buy a share to be eligible for the spoils.

I doubt the so called shady newbies can’t play poker,so they won’t get the hold of any package,but in any case,I agree to the above.To be able to play these qualifiers,make a blog and write about your pokercareer so far and what your upcoming goals are.Would that be to much work or?

You should definitely up the one share requirement. Maybe option of 20 shares bought or sold would be fair enough because anyone could do that and then just run off w/the money. Just my 2 cents…

the fact that theres a $5 intiial tournament will hopefully mean there arent too many hit and run type people you might get in a freeroll.

This is nice idea. Even starting times are good for European players also, mean not so bad as those private tourneys usually. First one could be maybe 2-3 hours later on future, but not anything more, because those times is almost perfect now.
I’m pretty sure I will play at least one of those. Already registered to both of those :)

hungryeyes: correct you have to have bought a share and sold an event to be eligible for the Tony G staking. you can still go in the tournament if you haven’t but you just can’t win the extra prizes (i.e. they will be shifted to the next ranked players)

I would like to see a bounty as well!I suggest a bounty on the future winners in each event.So next week we have a bounty on the winner OR if a player like TonyG or your choice have a go at it.A package or some kind of deal for the one that beat him or her.I know TonyG has a 250 Dollar bounty at his own site!
