How much does it cost to use ChipMeUp?
For Buyers of shares
A buyer is someone who buys shares in other poker players. They do not play the event but are investors. Buyers are entitled to get a return on a % of winnings from in proportion to the % they have purchased from the sellers.
Eg, a 10% share bought, will entitle you to 10% of the sellers winnings.
Sellers of shares
A seller is someone who puts up an event on ChipMeUp. A seller is going to play the poker event and is looking for buyers to invest in them. They use a 100% of the buyerâs money towards subsidizing their tournament fee. In the event they make any money, they are to pay the buyers a % of their winnings.
Eg. A seller who wins $1000, and has sold 10% of themselves will be required to pay $100 back to their investors.
ChipMeUp charges a small fee for investors looking to sell a share in themselves, see the ChipMeUp Fees.
