Casey Kastle (during Day 1): they make them tough in Slovenia!
Now here’s a guy that’s dedicated to his poker – Casey Kastle was in a rush to get to the Crown Poker Room by 2pm (the original scheduled start time, but that was pushed back by one hour), but injured a finger on his left hand after jamming it accidentally in the door of his camper van.
As we speak, the paramedic is now on site, stitching up his finger as he continues to play with his other hand! Add to that the fact that this blogger has his left foot strapped up to the hilt (due to a mystery injury) and you’d think that this game’s being held at the Royal Melbourne Hospital!

Ya, a double-cooler day, I guess. Who needs a middle finger or 100k anyway.

Called the RR from the bigstack w/ KKQhJh, which of course i check-raised allin for a 25% of tourney chips pot on the AhKhx flop… sadly v.s. his AAA, but w/ still 13 outs with 2 to go.

Back from hospital now with plenty of stitches, and still numb both from the anethesia…..and the last hand.

Maybe we’re saving the good luck and a Cooler our way for a better day and a bigger prizepool in 2011.

Tx for the support everyone. Back to NLH and the final Bounty Event on Saturday***, then a break from tourneys til EPT Snowfest in late March….
