Description
I am off to Vegas for some Venetian DeepStack challenge shipaments. These are being played during championship week so I am expecting big fields and prize pools. During the WSOP this year the $340 buy ins were getting around 750 entrants per day making a prize pool of around $225k with 60k for first. I expect the numbers to be around that. I am playing six tournaments in this package. November 14th $340 PLO November 15th $340 NLHE November 16th $340 NLHE November 17th $340 NLHE November 18th $340 NLHE November 20th $275 Sattelite to Main Event. I will be updating nightly on Chipmeup my results for each day. If I happen to win my sattelite on the 20th I will be playing the Main Event and you will have an equal percentage share in my Main Event as you do in this package. I have a lot of live tournament experience and have had a decent amount of success including a chop in a Caesars Mega Stack during WSOP, an 18th of 470 in the Irish Winter Festival $1650 Euro buy in and many other cashes. I am rested and ready to do some damage in Vegas. Please note that I am Canadian and large winnings are subject to IRS taxes and winnings will be paid out at the post tax numbers. Chipmeup dollars only for this event please. Thank you for looking at my event. Acey

Please note that these are designed as two day events. On days where I happen to make it to day 2 I will refund the tourney that I will not be able to play because we are making $$$$ to the prize pool

Thanks Spun. Good to see you again. I am totally pumped for this one. I added a data roaming package to my phone(I am Canadian) for this trip. If I get a nice deep run in anything I will give frequent updates for you all.

Good luck to us and thanks again.

Dinner break in the PLO, sitting on 16k blinds going to 4-800 so going to have to get busy soon. Started with a short field of 84, we are down to 30 players and top 9 get paid….

AceyDollar (about 1 year ago - 15 Nov 2010 09:57 UTC)

26th of 84 in the PLO. First NLHE event tomorrow.

AceyDollar (about 1 year ago - 15 Nov 2010 15:06 UTC)

The PLO was a nice event, very short field though. I guess the world is not ready for PLO tourneys yet. I spoke with the tournament director and he expects around 300 players for the $340 NLHE events this week, increasing as the week goes on and the players start coming into town for the Main Event on Sunday and getting here from the NAPT that is in LA right now.

Played 10 hours in the PLO yesterday. Just couldnt connect on a flop for the last three hours of it. The final hand I had KKA10 double suited vs a big stacks AJ93 single suit and we got in all in pre for a 26k pot and the board ran out a 245 to give him a straight and send me to the rail. Pumped for the NLHE event today in about 5 hours.

Thank you Prae. Worked my azz off yesterday with no cards. Finished 58/324 paying out to 36. I played 11 and a half levels for us but came up a bit short. Hopefully can improve on that today for us.

Second event 58/324

AceyDollar (about 1 year ago - 16 Nov 2010 14:13 UTC)

I was down to 24k with blinds at 1k-2k with 300 ante so 6k per round. Folded to me on the button and I had 99 and open shoved and was called by the BB’s JJ and could not improve….

AceyDollar (about 1 year ago - 17 Nov 2010 08:42 UTC)

Ugly bustout today. Finished 230/310. AKss vs Q3 suited all in preflop for 30k pot with blinds at 150-300. I raise he three bets me, I reraise and he shoves. He had played 80 percent of all flops the whole tourney and had been constantly sucking out and had about 50k. Extremely aggressive and lucky player….

Hi everyone, I have decided to take a break from the Venetian today. I am still feeling a bit tilted today. I have an open day on Friday so will either replace it with something that day or refund that $340.

Thanks everyone, hopefully we can make a better run the next few days.

AceyDollar (about 1 year ago - 19 Nov 2010 20:05 UTC)

Hello everyone. Another ugly day yesterday. I had KK vs an aggressive players AA. I was gone pretty early, level 3. There was one limper for 200, I had an 11k stack at the time, the AA raised to 800, I reraised to 2k and he reraised me 4.5k. I actually thought about folding preflop lol because at 200 BB I was so deep and I really could not see him doing that with anything but AK or AA being as I had a very tight table image. I decided to flat call his 2.5k raise and be able to get away from it on the flop if an A came.

I called and the flop came 7 high with 3 hearts. I had the K of hearts. He led out for 3.5k and I just could not lay it down having the K of hearts. I jammed and he called with his two black aces. It had plenty of outs with my two king outs and the flush outs but whiffed on all of them. It has been an ugly week. I still have $340 for us left over from the one I skipped plus I have the mega sattelite tomorrow to play. Hopefully can end a dismal week with a bang by shipping the seat for us and then getting a decent run in the Main.

AceyDollar (about 1 year ago - 19 Nov 2010 20:06 UTC)

I have saved all of my tournament buy in slips as well for the week and if anyone wants to see them as proof that I played I will scan them into my computer when I get home and forward you an email….

AceyDollar (about 1 year ago - 21 Nov 2010 15:56 UTC)

I was card dead in the mega sattie and waited as long as I could. The structure was pretty fast and it was shorter stacked. In three hours I saw only AJ 33 55 and 66. I position stole to keep myself in for awhile. But for what seemed like about the 56th time in 57 trys this week I lost the race when the chips went in. My AJ vs 77 blind vs blind with my last 8 BBs.

Was not a successful week at all. I had a couple of bubbles and could not win all important races at the key times. Thank you all so much for investing hopefully next time I can get the job done for us. I really played my ass off and had high expectations for myself this week. I will refund that $340 to the pool now and close the event.
