Resteal (about 1 year ago - 03 Jul 2010 02:53 UTC) I just busted in level 6 right before the dinner break. Was up to 7.5k by 100/200 level after chipping up a bit and then doubling with a flopped set. Situation dead for a couple of rounds then doubled up a 4k stack with AK vs QJ on KT9 flop. No way I’m getting away from that with such shallow effective stacks. Down to 13bbs on 100/200/25 level and shipped A3 from bb over an aggressive players 500 button raise and ran into 55. Can’t imagine I had a huge amount of fold equity but his range is wide and this was my last chance to resteal with any fold equity at all so I felt I had to shove a pretty wide range here. I’ll take a few days off poker now to come in fresh for the main event. |
