admin (2 years ago - 21 Apr 2010 00:25 UTC) It must be noted that CMU is meant for staking – this means buyers must have time to buy shares in an event. There has been conjecture as to whether this event is legal and it has been re-instated after exhaustive investigation We have been looking at the 12k Mr_IPoker event and have realised there was bug in the software that showed the incorrect creation time. The creation time was shown in EST rather than UTC, this has now been fixed. What this means is that Mr_iPoker did create the event 4 hours before the end of the event (i.e. he did not create the event on the final table). He did reserve the shares almost immediately. With regards to his $2298 event win:http://chipmeup.pokernews.com/event/50212 I did find evidence that whilst the event had reserved shares almost immediately, he did offer some in the Shoutbox. The logs are below. We’re deciding whether or not to re-instate the $2298 event. Please do not create more threads to discuss this! :)
