Description
Playing 500 Pokerstars 5.2 Double or Nothing turbo tournaments with 50 buy-ins. Played about 5K of those in different levels up to 110$ - mostly 11$ and 22$. Usually play 10 to 14 table at a time. Will start playing 8 tournament sets and will add, when run good. graph of 600 tournaments tracked in PS: http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/3021/don55graaf.png Last event got more than 30% profit, when ran 100 with 25 buy-ins. Put the event here just to motivate myself and give stakers a very good event.

Will run the event regardless of shares sold. Maximum time taken is 2 weeks, but capable of doing it in just a couple of days. Pretty sure that it will be completed in a week.

Will comment here, when starting sets and will show here the results of each set. Since it is a pretty big series, will post only few important or strange hands here.

When playing, will be hidden from search. Since many players search you in PS and when find out that multitabling will take advantage of that.

Will start playing in about 15 minutes. At first paste will be slower, because have not played these for a while.

1st set ITM 5 out of 8.

It’s nice to notice, that there are still some geniuses, who miraise early position with JQo, call allin and hit 3 outer on river. Just making notes and keeping on playing.

kalkaan (2 years ago - 27 Aug 2009 20:13 UTC)

2nd set again 5 out of 8.
When you show strenght on river with paired board and play trips, then villain doesn’t believe and calls with 2nd pair.

1st 50 tournaments ITM 28, ROI 7,7%, Profit 20$.

kalkaan (2 years ago - 30 Aug 2009 22:56 UTC)

Terrible: 100 played, ITM 51, ROI -1,9%, Down 10$.
Getting kings against aces several times, villains make herocalls, losing all the flips.
Last one started like this and ended with some profit.
Have to analyse and change my game or disaster will happend.

Sorry that couldn’t play in a week put things came up what I couldn’t predict. Now can put in second gear.

Damn, damn, damn that server restart in Pokerstars. Must wait 2,5 hours to continue. Had a nice paste and thought I can end the event before tomorrow evening.

Had very ugly run last 40 and lost all the time preflop allins: AA vs 44 – flop 4, KK vs QQ – Q comes, A2 vs K3 – 3 comes, 30 seconds later A2 vs K3 again – again 3, have 2 pair vs villains top pair on flop – he hits second one, KK vs A8 – A spikes, KK vs AJ vs AT – JJ comes, couple hands later to same guy QK vs 9J – J comes and so on…
Was very frustrated and down 36$, but took myself together and at the moment 42$ up in 40 tournaments.

Sad is that because of the server restart I do not believe I can end this event tomorrow. But must leave home until Sunday and then I guess can end event tuesday at latest. Its still in the timeframe as I promised to play this in max 2 weeks, but hoped to end this sooner.

Can’t continue playing right now. Playing at work and for some reason connection is lagging all the time. It is not easy playing 12 tables and suddenly you have to make decisions on all tables in just a few seconds. In addition must check all tables if there is sit out again etc. Last 13 tourneys ITM 9 of them and I do not want to risk dealing with connection problems again, when my game quality will suffer.
In addition got a devastating flue from somewhere (a lesson – its better not to drink beer outside, half naked, after sauna) and therefore head is like a bomb right now. If possible will try ending event sooner than Tuesday. Since deadline is 9th of September, there shouldn’t be any problems.
Tomorrow I’m leaving town and will come back on Sunday, I’ll try to continue event then. If I’ll find a place to play, will try to run remaining tournaments earlier.

Right now 363 games played, ITM 59,2%, ROI 13,9% and total profit 262,4$. On a heater right now, lets cross our fingers, that lady luck won’t turn her back on us, to get nice profit in the end.

Regards
kalkaan

Last 50 ITM 52%, ROI 0%, Profit 0$.
400 played: ITM 58%, ROI 11,5%, Profit 240$.

kalkaan (2 years ago - 08 Sep 2009 19:54 UTC)

Last 50 ITM 58%, ROI 11,5%, Profit 30$.
450 played ITM 58%, ROI 11,5%, Profit 270$.
Lol, 260$ still goes to buy-ins, so if we lose all 50, 10$ profit is still left for sure.
