Kataklysmos - PokerStars - $11 Deep Stack - NL Holdem

About an hour and twenty minutes in. Sitting slightly below average stack but still sitting comfortable. No big hands yet and when I catch something decent someone seems to have something better.

Just waiting for a good spot to increase my stack significantly while playing small pots to chip it up.

Got involved in a pot with QQ. Flop K A 5. I cbet the flop and he called. Note that I raised pre and I’ve been very tight. He called with A3.. donks making bad plays with dominated hands… sigh.

Don’t give up it will be better. The donks need for your win. Nore donks you find more you will win. Good luck

Sitting on a short stack right now which is odd for me in this tournament. Im usually up above average. Just been unlucky and missing a lot of flops. I have yet to hit a set with any pocket pair I have received. Agonizing but I have not given up.

Blinds are going to be 75/150 so even with my $2,000 stack I still have life in me. About 311 players left until ITM. I’m aiming for the win so we’ll see what happens.

Doubled up to 4300.

390 players remaining. 126 places cash. Stack 4375. Blinds about to raise to 100/200 in 15 minutes. Average stack size is 11,135.

Got some work to do but still in it for the win.

Flopped a flush. Almost doubled up off it. 6600 in chips. Chip ave is 14k. :( Just gotta keep workin’!

Tripled up .. my TT vs AA vs QJ and I sucked out on the river with a T.

16.2k and chip ave is 16k. Around 150 people I believe until ITM.

41k in chips. I raise from SB 3x BB with AK. BB shoves his big stack that covers me. I figured for small pair or AJ AQ.. weak ace.. I’m right. 55.. I spike an Ace on the river.. needed a Q for str8, K, or A. w00t!

AA vs QQ. AA held. 51k in chips.

Made a raise in the CO to steal blinds/antes with K7 offsuit. SB calls. Flop 7 Q J. He checks. I should of cbet there because he probably would have folded but I checked behind trying to be sly. Thought I’d save myself some money incase he did hit that flop. He checks turn of 4 of clubs. I bet. He calls.. river A.. he checks again.. I check hoping my 7 is good. He had 88. Lost very little but should of cbet that flop. Probably would have taken it down.

10 players left until ITM. 33k chip average. My stack is at 57k

49k in chips. 66.. raised preflop. flop 5 7 8. short stack called it down and i lost 8k on the hand to over pair JJ. couldnt hit.. :(

Down to 45k. Got JJ.. should of 3bet pre but did not. Called in position raise from MP player. Flop 2 spades.. was 4 K 2. He bets. I call to see what he does on turn. A spades on turn. Unfortunate for me. He checks.. which is either slow playing two pair.. top pair.. but I don’t beat much so I check behind. River another Ace. He bets 10k into a 15k pot. I can’t really call.. gross spot. I don’t believe he has a K but AJ.. QQ.. flush.. too many possibilities so I laid it down.

Ugh.. 35k. F*ck my life. I could of swore this guy was making a play at me. Has been the entire time.. last time he had 83 s00ted. This time AK off suit. I should of re-raised pre flop to find out where I was at. he calls, then obviously im dominated.

35k again.. 66 people left. chip ave 65k. had a bad hand or two and been building my stack back up. SO HUNGRY FOR THE WIN!

AQ vs 33 and I hit blanks.. ugh. down 4th out of 21 down from 2nd or 3rd.

6th of 17. Flop 3 K K, I have position. I thought maybe he was cbetting flop so I re raise him. And he rrais.. I misclicked call instead of fold.. big pot.. but I cant call Ace high off. Saved what I had.. 252k left. Time to rebuild.

Gross. 99, all in before me.. all in shove.. I fold. flop set.. would of held.

SO GROSS. T9 button, i raise 2.5×.. sb calls. flop gut shot str8 draw. flop 6 3 7. he checks, i check knowing he gets tricky. turn T. he bets 35k into 44k. probably a bad call on my part. river comes another T. he bets enough that if i call im done anyways. so i shove it in.. he has 33. sick life. i tried so hard Hungry. srry gg tho :(
