About 110th place out of 700 at first break. (80 are paid.) Chip leader my table despite going card dead in the latest level and folding everything. So far, so good.

Monster pot right before the break gets me to about 40th place. I had 86 on the turn and he had 9T showing and so I knew I was ahead and kept raising him back. Well he hit 87 on the river and I got some more chips from him. Would have been more comfortable if I had actually gotten help on the river. (Actually I haven’t been getting any help on the river all night so I have to be pleased where I stand given that fact.)

Onward and upward!

Well I managed to get in a massive pot and I was ahead on the turn with my made 864 ahead of his made 865. But I bricked the river and he improved and so instead of being among the chip leaders, I was out a few hands later. Sorry guys. I played well enough to give myself a chance but I caught no more than one or two rivers all night and got rivered in my biggest pots. Such is life.

Sounds like you gave a good account in a big field. It’s all you can ask for when staking people. Would be happy to jump on you again in razz :)
