Hi Amanda.
As stated I am playing tomorrow on day 1d.
Played the $550 deep stack at Venetian yesterday and scraped into 52nd from 624 players for 2nd lvl min cash.
Had 8 pairs all day (14hrs) 22, 22, TT, TT that was all for first 10hrs then I got JJ 3 times in an hr, had to fold 2 pre.
and on bubble I got QQ to double up.
So hopefully all my big hands will come tomorrow.

Day 1d is in the books and going forward with 64250 for day 2b on tues.
Actually this is my worst ever day 1 for the Main Event in 4 years.
Avg is around 45k obviously that means nothing but its a good start.
I do not think I had a bad level, my worst being a break even level 4.
I had a great table, there was a russian who was very good but the rest a mixture or calling stations and plain awful.
Level 5 started bad dropping to 39 after losing AK twice, the 2nd I raised with AhKc, 1 caller and flops AsQsJs, I check fold face up.
The 2 players on my right say that they would not fold there :) they finished with 16k and 8k.
I also missed with 99 that had started the day so good for me.
I then raise with AhQh, 2 callers and thank fully we check down the KcQcTc 4h 8d and win the pot, soon after I get AA and put a 3 bet in and get called, flop JQ3 and I check raise to take the pot, very next hand I get KK and raise, guy from previous hand ships 25bbs with 55 :) I fade the turned flush draw.
We only lost 1 player from the table all day and that was him.
Ok, lets have good thoughts for tues.

Have a very tough looking table.
The short stack on the table will be John Eames (3rd ept Copenhagen) with 28k.
But its not like Iv never been at a tough table before :)

Started ok when got lucky rivering a boat v flopped trips and upto 70k.
From there it was a downward plummet.
Kept getting pipped blind v blind.
dropped to 27k where I flopped top 2 v bigger A and got upto 40k.
Few hands later I have Btn KJ on a KsQs4d flop, check check, lead the 8h turn and river 9c, I call the bet as it looks like missed flush but of course fish hit TJ.
Very next hand I raise Ac2c and bb calls flops 345d and they have Qd8d.
out in 2400th.

so why is the event still Running
