With my regret I could not travel to Las Vegas, when i was at the airport to check in I started to feel ill with chest pains and breathing difficulties, where the host would not let me board and advised me to go to hospital where I was until the end of the day for observation. I am devastated by this situation since it is my dream to go play the WSOP. i already contacted Titan and the WSOP and explain the situation and enclosed the medical evidence for them to refund me the buy in of the tournament. Because of this I can not close this event yet. If any of you have any question please let me know.
If any of here from CMU ever happen this or know someone who had the same problem, please send me a PM for me to know the best way to talk to Titan

Hi. Sorry to hear about what happened. I hope it is nothing serious. Having said that I think you should pay back investors their money. After all you did not play the event. In my view it has nothing to do with you getting refunded from Titan in your end. I just bought one share for 1.45 so I honestly dont care about the money, but some of the other buyers might ;) Best Regards

Tks Gamerrhea. Getting refunded by Titan its not in my end. If i get refund by Titan the $10K, i will close this event as a $10K profit. They told me they will contact me in the next 48 hours with a solution, that will be until tomorrow. So, i beliave that tomorrow i will have news for us.

if u do get refunded i think u should play all the major’s, sunday – sunday, binking a sunday 500 or a super tuesday would be cool, play all the bigs, every tourni on sunday lol, just put ur share aside and play with investors % of the 10k, about tree fiddy, 3.5k id would be up for this for sure, whether your up for it the other inestors are has obviously have to be agreed up on

its just a suggestion aswell, im not demanding it ;)

so Titan Poker don’t allow any refund of the buyin from the Main Event?I don’t know how other sites act in this case but if a player have qualified and get sick + provide medical statements saying it is not possible to get registerred because of illness,then they should at least give you a refund in the form of $T dollars and let you play on their site!?

This means,no refund and you saved $10K for Titan Poker and you get nothing in return?This is their terms and what can be done!?In any case,I think it sux because you have worked really hard to get this ticket and suddenly it is worth $0!

I would ask Titan Poker to get $T dollars if possible!Then you can keep this event going and we,the shareholders and yourself get some kind of a profit!

Like MDMWINS said,if you had a travelinsurance,then it could cover some of the losses!If you paid for the trip with a VISA,then u have an insurance there as well and a homeinsurance could cover some losses!What I don’t get is why Titan Poker refund this other guy only bcause they knew him!?Padding eachothers backs I assume!

The email they sent you gave you rules for Event 48 and 54 NOT THE MAIN EVENT WHICH IS EVENT 58!

Ok,so if I understand this!If Manero don’t turn up in Vegas at the ME,the money goes to the pricepool and now he was kind enough to get in touch with Titan with a medical statement saying he can’t play and the registration has to be cancelled in his name!

If they decide not to give anything,then I wish he would have been a no show as well!Then I rather see the money in the pricepool than Titan Poker’s pockets!

I hope it all turns out to the best!We,the players struggle hard to get these packages,we see badbeats on a daily basis and then the sites want to make life even harder,that sux!

A friend of mine made a $500 deposit on Ipoker and played cashgames!He hit the cards and got great winners = full house vs smaller and so on! He won approx $2600 in a few hours!Finally the cards held up!But what happened?

The day after his account was locked and he found a mail from the support saying it was locked because of possible chipdumping and fraudulent activity?He was in schock!All he did was playing cg and finally winning some!

He has emailed them several times and after 3 months they say it is still under investigation!Later on he was told these sites use their own propplayers and maybe they decided he won to much and locked it to save a few bucks!

He has not got a decent answer!The final decision seems to be a locked account and his winnings will he never see again together with his deposit!

They behave like crooks!I will never ever play oin that network again.To unsafe when they all of a sudden after a cashgame just decide to lock the account with his money!Have others experienced this?Let us know!
