Hi Everybody:
I finally found an FTOPS i can definitely play. As part of this custom i will do 5 $26 satellites for the $216 Limit Hold'em FTOPS #19 ($150K GTD) on Thursday 11/12.
If i qualify for the event in try #1 then i will just put the rest of the funds back in the event on a prorata basis. Once we qualify then the % from this event will carryover to the FTOPS event.
I just qualified this way to the $162 Cake event (with $100K GTD) and ended up finishing in 76th for about $235. All for a very small investment.
As a bonus i will do three tries to enter another Cake $162 using my gold chips. If i get into a $162 on Cake then i will put in 75% of whatever is earned into this event.
I hope you like this event and lets get into the FTOPS and make some $$$.
If the event does not sell out by Tuesday 11/10 at 8pm CT then i will cancel it and refund you the full amount

checkout (2 years ago - 12 Nov 2009 06:12 UTC) Hi All: Well we were so close to the seat in try #2, made it to heads up and assumed chip lead for a short while only to go on an unreal 15 hand losing streak the likes of which i have never seen before in my life. BTW WE MADE $78. Now we have 3 tries left. Its Midnight here in Memphis and i just can’t get another tourney started. Too tired from lack of sleep and too much work. My plan as of now is to take tomorrow afternoon off of work and do another 3 tries. If something happens and I can’t take the afternoon off then i will add the $26 × 3 back in the prizepool on a prorata basis. Thanks for the faith and better luck to us tomorrow. Regards, |

checkout (2 years ago - 12 Nov 2009 22:39 UTC) Very unfortunate. Due to work issues I was not able to take the afternoon off today. I apologize for not taking some more shots at this. I really felt that i could have made it into the FTOPS with just one more attempt. So effing close yesterday. The good news is that i will be adding $26 × 3 = $78 on a prorata basis $78 × 1.23 = $95.94 back into the prize pool. Total for the event is therefore $173.94 (each share makes $.35 in profit) and we still have 3 chances left at qualifying for the $162 on cake. Please note that i have already qualified for this weeks $162 $100K GTD event (for another custom) so i will start the attempts to qualify for next weeks $162 $100K GTD on Sunday 11/15 (and Monday). Between now and Sunday 11/15 i will play a few bonus tourneys so we can try to add to the prizepool. Thanks again for your faith. Regards, Alex |
